Thursday

Letter of the Day: Tt

We started our day with story time.
I read to the children the true story of Saint Patrick.
WHAT an amazing and Godly man he was.

We talked about how he chose to obey God
and become a missionary
to the very country that held him as a slave.

I shared with them how Patrick
explained the Trinity to those who did not know Jesus.
He used a Shamrock or three leaf clover.

(Craft idea ~ Oriental Trading)

After our morning craft time
we began our circle time, as we always do, with prayer.
(I had a little helper today so I had the chance
to take a pic of them praying~SWEET!)

Then we sang our 'Jesus' alphabet song.
"A,B,C,D,E,F,G
Jesus died for you and me."

"H,I,J,K,L,M,N,
Jesus died for sinful men. AMEN!"

"O,P,Q,R,S,T, U
I believe God's Word is true."

"U,V,W,
God has promised you,
X,Y,Z,
a home eternally!"

Then our little helper
helped us with our Bible Alphabet Flashcards.
(I made the Bible Alphabet Flashcards to coincide with the curriculum
If you are interested in a set of flashcards e-mail me at joy.in.jesus@cox.net).

Today was Tt.

Afterwards we went to the table for our
Bible craft time.

We finished all our work with enough time
for Bible songs time.
Everyone chose an instrument
and we danced and practiced all the songs we've been learning all year.

Then we learned a new song.
"Oh, be careful little tongue what you say,
Oh, be careful little tongue what you say,
For your Father up above is looking down in love,
Oh, be careful little tongue what you say."

Today was a lesson that takes a lifetime to really learn.
So glad they are learning this so young =D
