This morning we began our day working with colorful brads and their mats.
Each child was given an empty mat to work with, small and
large brads and a picture of what they could make.
So here is the picture of a rainbow and a mat completed.
(One of my daughters made it for me so I could show the children
what they could look forward to with their own work).
Every child received a different picture and a blank mat.
They got to work right away!
Each student wanted their own special helper,
my children were happy to help.
Done!
So proud!
Next, we went straight into Circle time.
Each child wanted a turn helping.
In our Bible time we studied the story of how Jesus chose His disciples.
We talked about how the fishermen left what they were doing to follow Jesus and
if they could stop what they are doing to follow Jesus.
They all said they could =D
We then worked on our Bible craft.
"Peter fished for fish and for men."
Today, during snack time, we celebrated a birthday!
We sang "Happy Birthday," blew out candles and had delicious cupcakes!
Today was 'Clifford Magazine" Day!
We read about autumn and we able to do the activity on the back together.
And finally it was our vowel time.
We have been working steadily on our vowel sounds and
today we began our beginning blend sounds!
They were all so proud of themselves-beginning to read!
We practiced again at the table together,
worked on our handwriting, letter of the day- Ff
and finished the day singing Bible songs we have learned and learning new ones!
Such a great day! I am so proud of each of my students!
