What begins with Nn?
Nn is for Noah
nnnnnnnn-Noah!
Today we started our day
playing with KidKnex.
After this one picture
my camera completely died,
as in, died for good =(
It was fully charged, but had no life.
But we still made some wonderful creatures.
We made puppy dogs, flowers and sunshiny suns.
After that we started our circle time.
(What a blast I had!!).
We sang our different pledges, prayed and then
began working on our months of the year song.
We sang all the months-
"January, February, March, April..."
Then I hear my little boy say,
"I love Aunt April, Uncle Jesse and baby 'Biolet'!"
He heard the month April and thought of his Aunt April!
Sooooo wonderful.
Then when we were singing our numbers song
I cracked up again.
We sing:
"Rickety, Tickety,
clap with me,
How many fingers do you see?"
Then I hold up fingers between 1-5.
For the last time around I surprised them by holding up
all ten fingers.
I said, "How many fingers do you see?"
I held up all 10 fingers...
The response?
"LOTS!!!"
The children had no idea why I was laughing.
In Bible time we studied the story of Noah and the ark.
We talked about how, "God shut the door."
"That's so cool Mrs. Ellen."
"Yes, God made sure that they were safe.
Our God keeps us safe too."
We talked about how God protected Noah and his family
and how God protects us.
We had a sweet time of giving thanks to God.
Next, we headed to the table for our craft time.
"Noah needed to build an Ark."
The children enjoyed placing all the animal stickers on and around the ark.
Outside of my camera breaking,
it was another precious day.
